Tanya Robert's part was supposed to be a geologist. When this film came out my university class was out doing field work and we thought we'd go see the film because of this. Geology is a field fairly mixed in terms of gender. Her hair was long and styled, her heels were sharp, and her nails were perfect. We were sweaty, wild haired, had shredded beaten boots, and were full of rock dust.
When she said she was a geologist, we laughed our fool heads off!

I was 23 when A View To A Kill came out and the obvious age difference between Roger Moore (then 58) and Tanya Roberts (30) struck me as odd.I checked their ages on imdb before making this entry and I was surprised to find Tanya was 30,I had thought she was younger.Of course,I now know that attraction isn't bound by age.

Okay, it's not the best Bond movie, nor was it Moore's best. However, I enjoy watching it. It is slightly darker than Moore's earlier films-I think this is a taste of the darker films of Dalton and Brosnan.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
