h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Like posting some time means something... Well it does to those who still read this as opposed to the other means available in terms of darakat contact-abilities. We are now going to be renting, rather than buying. Mostly cause just as we were about to buy the market collapsed... yay, sending rates higher than we can reasonably afford. Officially they went up like .25% from 7.25% but in reality they are now 8.02% or higher. Anyway renting is easier so expect a post from new abode soon.

Oh yeah, wedding plans are now getting quite think and plot like...

Well we chose Cockingtong green for reception because its cutesy, its nice, good photo opportunities and there is stuff for the guests to do when were not there. We chose the Gold Creek Resort as its close by and nice enough for us, and has relatively good food for the price. The photographer was pretty cheep and easy to get access too. The celebrant is the only one in the region who does legal pagan handfastings nuff said. The cake lady is a friend of mine and makes wonderful floral decorations in the icing rather than with it, its really cool and just slightly different. The DJ is a friend of mine and back up best man. the brides maids are all Angels friends.
I think thats what we have done so far.

What's a "handfasting"?

Its were we get the words "To tie the knot" from, you and your misses to be get your hands and hold each in the opposite hand, meanwhile the celebrant (druid) will put some rope (silk or some-such generally) and literally tie the not around your hands.
