h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Today was about the first time in my life when I figured out I might actually become a Liberian for the rest of my life, good on me, its taken 3 years of a double degree. Good thing I like the prospect of spending the rest of my life ignoring all authority bar the dewey decimal system and wearing what accounts for Jeans and a jumper most of the time. I mean its not like I am one of the weirdoes who are bibliophiles (I have met one... don't ask me about it, ever, I will flinch), but cataloguing a book gives someone a purpose in life. I mean its not much, and it may not be a great destiny, but at current its the only one I have and I am going to hang on to it like a leach. Suck, suck, suck. I have been recently accused of not been a green green, and to that I reply I am not a green green, I like the greens, and as a party there a dam slight better in all respect to the others that are currently out there. Yes, I do eat meat, and I do by from large multinational companies. And yes I own a TI calculator. Indeed I have New Balance Shoes, and a SONY disk player. Now your probably wondering why I consider myself a green? Well actually all of these things are not pander-mount to the green party, or being a green. In fact the only real definition is having a extensive and comprehensive environmental policy and thats what counts. I believe the environment should be put on a much higher part of the agenda, WAY before defense, and sometimes before the economy, in fact most of the time I believe the environment may bee in fact the only real agenda worth bothering about. However the environment isn't the only issue and I know dam well that silly boycotts don't work, ever. If you want to make any headway in taking down a company that uses slave labour for example, the best way is to run a scare campaign on the media about its boss being a Colombian drug lord. I firmly believe its high time the greens use the good media to there advantage. Sure where in it for the environment, but that means where in it for you, the economy, science, the whole world, baby!

I thought about that freaking time until I passed out last night.
