Good Friday?
darakat - Now with pockets! Started conversation Apr 9, 2004
Well it was ok. I didn't go to church at any point because well I never have and never will, but that was a formality I always make sure that I am not in church. Last year I was outside a church on good friday, that was a close one. Actually I have been in cathedrals, there technically churches but not on any holy days and I was there to appreciate the art work and or dead folk berried in and around the place. I mean any ethnic majority like the dead need respect right? Who knows. I am sure they might care, sometimes I think its like episode 8 of HHGGTG I can't have that happen to me so I make sure I am never to busy to put flowers on the graves of as many random dead people as humanly possible unfortunately this has so far consisted of 23 people, I gave up after they ran out of roses. So was there any point in this completely useless waste of your time? Well yes.
Its now my class free period, once described as a intense period of study uninterrupted by classes. So thats what I would have been doing today had my dad not decided to start drilling holes in my wall (kind-of gives you a headache that) so I played with ada, helped dad, then took ada for a walk came home, ate dinner, watched 75% of a concert for george and then wrote this. Expect more in the following days including this months rant, it should be a exhilarating as a badger down the pance, exiting as a game with a 7 month old german shepherd and as controversial as Olon Kalofids blockbuster philosophical trilogy "where god went wrong!", "more of gods greatest mistakes!" and "just who is this god person anyway!?".

I was told to go to church. I laughed and left the building.
I did, however, have a rather interesting encounter with the pastor of the church I used to attend. Veddy interesting.
I'm getting cremated. I think that being stuffed full of chemicals and locked in a box after being coated with pancake makeup is vulgar.

I too have never been to church on Good Friday. Will probably go on Easter, but only if dragged by family. Doesn't bother me for major holidays, though it isn't anything I would do on my own.
On a very unrelated note, I have a job over the summer!!!!! Doing engineering research!!!!! (PS: This is rather exciting for me)

Congratulations! Are you going to work for a company or for a private?

Through a college, actually, though I think it's sponsored by something in the government.

My grandparents heard about it and gave me a map of houston that they had lying around.
Since 1966.

The map is from 1966? Hahahahahahahaha, that'll help you a whole hell of a lot.

I know! But it makes a great conversation piece! I should take it there and put it up on my wall.
Good Friday?
Tacysa Posted Apr 21, 2004
That's fantastic. Get it framed and put this huge date underneath it.

then use it as a deterrent from the rest of the house.
Good Friday?
Tacysa Posted Apr 22, 2004
If I saw a map from 1966 in a house, I'd go through the rest of it to see what else there was. That would be a poor deterrent.

Well in my case, it would be lots of brightly colored things and a big mess. The mess isn't that much of a deterrent since people pick things up and play with them irregardless.
