Hi Math,

It's been a while since I've thought about this place, but I can't help remembering a fellow whom I have long considered to be a light on the hill, and there's a couple of things I would like you to know.

When I tried to think of the kind of man I want to be, you—or at least, the persona you presented online—were always one of my role models. You were compassionate, intelligent and respectful of others, and the qualities you aspire to have become my aspirations too. If I'm lucky, I'll develop the composure and tranquility that marked you as a man apart.

I hope you and your family are doing well for yourselves and living life to the fullest. I am as odd as ever, but perhaps better tempered with humility and tolerance. Feel free to email me ([email protected]) if you ever want to catch up.
