No. The only purple beer I've ever seen was lager and black! But earlier this year I did have a couple of pints of a green called Rite Of Spring. It was rather nice, actually - just tasted like a good light beer!

hmmm, I'm going to have to check my sources, I once heard a story from a past bradford uni student, that I guy walked into a bar and ordard a pint of the stuf and drank it in one go, he was about to order another when he fell to the floor.

mmmmmmm..... OP, helped myself to the bottled version earlier tonite. Never seen it purple, but never had the real stuff either. New favorite is Harviostoun Old Engine Oil from Dollar, Scotland.
