I have confirmed the unexplainable feeling that I had in the early 1990’s; it started inside my right leg as a pinprick and exploded into a numbing throb within a year. I have the same feelings on my right middle finger for the last two weeks.
Many times I have said that I would not wish this feeling on anybody, it can be described as complete and utter fatigue coupled with intense white hot pain radiating from the right knee all at the same time. It rises and falls in intensity like the waters do, but never completely goes away.
The rational would be then that if I were to get treatment on my finger off now the spread of pain might be stopped. All my intelligent logic tells me that this is a very stupid idea, but then again it is not logic that will help me with the pain that sativex combined with dilaudid and neurontin cannot.

I can't say I can help much, pedboy. Weird things like tis happen throughout all time. They say "Truth is stranger than Fiction". My knowlegde & wisdom towards the unexplained comprises cryptozoology & ghosts, & not aliens & politics.

Hi Pedboy
Does it ever come one briefly then go away?
Or does it always come to stay?
My experiences with nuerontin, gabapenten an other gaba wonders was nothing positive but I know it helps many especially with the *burning fires one can feel. Hmm Maybe that is why the spontaneous human combustion question fascinates me
I occaisionaly stop or slow a medication down just to see if it is ading more negatives than positives when things are going goofy.
Not always possible of course. I always think when I go one several newer things close together it is hard to tell what is what. So many of the meds cause the same symptoms as the disease!
None of this is new or helpful probably.
I understand at these times why I get unsolicited advice.
So please, forgive me if need be.
I have not been around much this year so I am glad to see you.
Follow your own heart and head.
I hate when mine go in different directions
Once the fog of emotions clears a bit I hope you are confident in what to do.
I think of all humans being in a sort of limbo (unknown space or future to me)but some circumstances make it so painfully obvious
How are your buddies?3?

Thanks mas and abbi,
It comes and just keeps getting worse, like inlaws.
My are fine, only 2 now we had to put Matel down, for being too aggressive a couple of years ago now.
Thanks

You have my sympathy.
Possibly B vitamins may help with the pain stuff, they seem to help me , but check with your doc first. I honestly don't think anything helps when the "grand fatigue" syndrome hits, other than the logical thing of sleeping as much as possible. All you can do is remember with most demyelin type stuff, these things come in waves of remission & flare ups, during a flare up it's really very natural to feel depressed as hell...maybe in one way that could be helpful, 'cos you end up doing absolutely nothing, which at least gives the body chance to rest.
I'm in hibernation mode right now, just trying to limit activity as much as possible, since it seems to take around 3 days to recover from something like a smallish shopping trip. Those folks who say brightly "oh, you should keep active dear, helps maintain a positive attitude" obviously have never experienced trying to haul yourself around with legs of wired up lead & brain of cotton wool!
zdt*waves to abbi too*
