hi there loup as you know im trying to find old threads but the search engine doesnt seem to work is this a digibox problem

The search engine only searches for content in the posts themselves rather than what's in the subject line. Its the same for everyone not just the Set-Top Box users.

You could also try to type the name of one of the posters in the search box for conversations... But that could mean a lot of time being spend going through the list of subject titles if the thread[s] you're looking for got a very small %/rating...

just to let you know when digibox users get the validation email all they need to do is create a link on their email just like the one they first used to access h2g2

i dont wish to sound silly but you need to register before you get a validation e.mail
So has anyone got a validation e.mail that they can turn into a link and send to me so i can pass it on to other digibox users?

Venus: Yep, you're right. Unfortunatly the confirmation emails that are sent have a unique set of numbers at the end and won't work for anyone else.

I'm trying something out that could work.

I left an email in the BBCiTesters Forum asking about the buttons to click still not being there in plain skin for the/some digibox users...

[that happened again to me last night when i tried the machine...]

I dunno when i will get an answer though as it seems that delays in receiving emails through Yahoo are up to 24 hours these days...

But, will keep you all posted on whatever is replied regarding digiboxes and the SSO..
