thanks for everything.
I have taken everyones advice, and decided I'm going nowhere.
I have made good friends in here, and I'm not going to throw all that away.
I believe you had a visit from the troll and I shouldn't think you'll lose any sleep over it!

and yep... i've been trolled [see the thread titled WAAAAA a bit lower down...] but once again the system worked so i don't have to see the offending postings anymore...

i never have a problem with people not agreeing with someone but insults are not on and it's not what this community site is about... i only wish some of the people who register on here checked the house rules as well before posting... and nope i won't lose any sleep over it ... i went through worse on LD [even in the library]... the last incident being when someone tried to destroy my online reputation [big mistake as i do like my username and didn't intend to change it...]

and i meant it when i said i was proud to be one of your friends... and you deserve the respect from the LDers community for your work with luna's chatroom... a lot of people have helped make this little corner of h2g2 comfortable for ex-LDers [you being one of them]... it's also important that we keep it as safe as possible... incidents like that are sometimes needed to show that solidarity and friendship are part of the LDers vocabulary... mmmmmm.... now i wonder if i'm making any sense there... but i think you know what i mean...

h2g2 is a friendly place anyway and the majority of researchers on here will always try their best to keep it that way... in a recent past we have received help from non-LDers when confronted to trolls... many of them have gone out of their way to help us in our objectives... the italics have also done a wonderful job trying to provide us with better facilities [the plain skin being one of them...] for digibox users... they are also looking into the yikesing problem for the digibox...,

trolls and flamers should never let us lose sight of these important facts...

Wow, that's the biggest posting I've ever received I think!
Yes I agree, a lot has been done for us digibox usere, and considering the iffy way we get in here I think that's great. I wish we had another way of accessing h2g2 through the digibox. It is so frustrating when email is down.
Still, we gotta make the most of it.
