So I had the National Adventure and Street Sports (or National Adventure Sports Show, or something like that) at the weekend. Another festival. Rah!
So we had our bungee jump booked for the Friday evening, to kick off the weekend. So we rushed to the site, put up our tents and trekked over to the 'Rush Zone' to find out that they'd f*cked up and hadn't booked the crane driver until late enough, so we would have to come back tomorrow... So that left the evenings Drum n Bass So I jungled away for a while, and then did a Bob style mad night of wandering around hanging around with different groups of strangers. Always good...
The lack of available women at this festival is renowned (20:1 male:female ratio and most of them are girllfriends) so although I gave it a good try, I was unsuccessful. I did, however, almost get in there with a fellow drugged up person, a 29 blonde who I was chatting up, and when she had to go said,
'Do you want to come ba-. Nah, you're too young.'
Despite my protestations to the otherwise she'd made her mind up. Oh well.
Next morning we did our Bungee jump. F*ck that's crazy sh*t, anyone who says that as they fall they aren't scared (unless they've done loads) is lying, after all, if you don't get scared whats the point, doing non-scary things doesnt get the adrenaline flowing. But that was damn good, I've got to do the SCAD drop next year.
Watched extreme sports all day, and went to the music again in the evening, it was hip-hop this night, so not as good. After the music finished I spent a while walking around with a group of kiddies who were playing jungle from a stereo on their shoulder.
As I danced around after these people I realised that I have graduated as a festival nutter. I am one of the wierdos...
So the morning after, we packed up and left, having done our thing... So until next year?

Hell yeah, but now there's no more festivals for the year...
No more nutty hanging around with complete strangers for me...

Ohhh. *That's* where you were.
Hey.
The festivals may be over.
But it only means it's time for all the gigs...

I don't know about you, but I've never got out of my face and wandered around for hours with people I've just met at a gig...

Ah, but until you've done it in a festival way you don't understand...

I can't wait to do it again... I want to do the big one is Aus, 500ft drop whereas your average crane one is about 130ft...
But what I also want to do is a SCAD jump... That looks mad as f*ck.
