This was somewhat accidentally discovered/invented on a recent camping trip... takes a bit of preperation but you can use the strawberries for a lot of other things too.
Buy some very ripe strawberries (6-8 oz. per serving, buy as many as you want). Remove the stems and cut them up if they are large ones, again just a matter of preference. Pour into a bowl, sprinkle liberally with sugar, mix well. Pour the strawberries into a bag and let them sit and ferment for a day or three until they reach around 20 proof. You'll have to taste them ocassionally to check the progress, and should end up without about half juice.
Now that you have your alcoholic strawberries, pour off around 6-8 oz. and to this add a shot or two of brandy. Mix well and and serve cold. Be careful, as this packs a very deceptive punch.

I love strawberries cut up into quarters, sprinkled with sugar, tossed with about half the volume of brandy to strawberries in a bowl and left in the fridge overnight to ferment. Serve with very stiffly whipped cream as desert.
