Hi Danny,
When anyone asks me why it is I never got married, this is the story I quote. By the time I get half way through the explanation, they are so bored they forget what the question was.
The reason I use the story of Oedipus is that my Mother died when I was eighteen months old and I was brought up by a rather strict step-mother and an even stricter, but mentally weak father.
At least that’s my reason and I’m sticking with it.
