you need 500 points to play a proper game of 40k.
400 for a game of '40k in 40 minutes'

If you're doing Death Guard you can't have Oblitorators as they cannot be given marks of choas. I don't think so anyway...

How can you play them at all as surely all models have a mark of chaos. Death Guard armys can't have fast attack models.

you can't have oblitorators in a Death Guard army because all models in a Deathguard army have to be given the mark of Nurgle. Oblitorators can be used in any army apart from the specialist ones. (Thousand Sons, World Eaters, Death Guard and Emperor's Children.) This limits the armies to what they can chose and makes them more characterful.
Death Guard Armies can have fast attack units. They are just limited to the number of Rhino tanks you can have. It doesn't says that 2 rhinos count as Troops as normal and any after that count toward your limit of 3 fast attack choices...

I've just looked and you can't give a mark of Nurgle to Bikes or raptors and there are no nurgle daemonic beasts, so you were kinda right, but you can have 2 units of plague marines in rhinos that count as fast attack.

in a death guard army you cannot take any units that cannot be given a mark of choas. Oblitorators cannot be given marks of chaos. The only units that can are ones made from Marines: Marines, Havocs, Raptors, Bikes, Chosen and charactors.

in the intro to the Books of Chaos there is a little chart showing what units can be given perticular marks and which can't. any model not included on that chart CANNOT be given any mark and so cannot be used in a Deathguard army.

I can't be bothered to look or argue. It's stupid rule anyway. Next topic.
