This is my favorite time of year... too antsy to do much, I want to read, wander, watch movies, hang out, do everything at once! I've been pretty proud of keeping my blog up lately at my website, and I went to a Nickel Creek concert a couple nights ago.

October is my favorite month. Now it's gone. Phooey. I love the feel in the air of the changing of seasons and the glorious colors!

I wish our tree colours were more interesting. They go a lovely shade for about two days - then along comes a gale and they all blow onto the roads where they get turned into brown mulch. 
British trees don't seem to have quite the same pizazz, somehow.
One of these days I'll go and visit an arboretum - that will probably be a much better way of seeing them!
Mind you, October (being quiet - particularly as we had no trick or treaters on Hallowe'en) led us on to November and the rampant racket of Bonfire night - which came quite close to Diwali and Eid as well so it's been firework city for a couple of weeks, which is great if you have a good view across the City and no pets. Indeed, I went to an orchestra rehearsal on Nov 5th itself - and it sounded like a minor war had broken out!
