Well, in a manner of speaking. My presence on h2g2 may be less than it previously was, due to the distinct lack of computer in my office (the disappearance of which mysteriously coincided with the arrival of a large, ugly computer-shaped paperweight - oh, all right, the motherboard blew up and tech support won't be able to fit a new one for months, probably).
Anyway, I have returned, and in spirit never really left - I just didn't have time for anything.
Speaking of which, there's rugby to be watched and wincing to be done.

I'd like to see that at the school I go to, their computers need replaced, and the best way to get them to do it would be to destroy the present ones!

Well, if you can access the computers, you can do a half-reasonable effort at toasting them by putting the RAM in backwards, as one of our techies found out recently. That fries the DIMM.
