Haze: Plan C seems to be working

Valentine's was great. The day itself was crap, but it exerted it's influence throughout the week instead.

In the last four days I've got four girls saying either, "REALLY, come and see me" or, "When have you got a night off".

It's nice to be popular smiley - smiley

Did Gez (sorry I only know one gerard and he is 'gez', a dope fiend, pinball master and coiner of the phrase, 'Nah, come on Haze, let's have ONE more beer) buy you special things?

My best effort was buying a girl a ride down the Yarra River in an authentic venetian gondola, and dinner in the highest building in Melbourne.

How was I to know.....

It was actually a cafeteria.

Ha!!! Is that so!?? ... still sounds groovy... heck, any old date sounds wonderful to me right now. I am extremely peeved!!! I am ALWAYS either working or at school... I'd rather be USUALLY at my job, at school or playing my precious guitars!!!

It stinks. I just turned 20, dear friend..... And I don't like being an adult. Being an adult means taking other peoples' ca-ca and working at something you would rather not have occupying your time. Yet you have no choice. We all have to make a living somehow.

Man... I haven't responded in a long while-- mostly because I have been at work or in class or doing homework or trying to keep in contact with my friends and my boyfriend(He gave me the BEATLES for my birthday!!! smiley - smileySorry for my delay.

No wait. I am NOT sorry for my delay. I am sorry for the fact that everything good in my life goes on hold for the moment.

For Valentine's week, did you have fun with those chickies!?? Oh, you lucky naughty devil... Eros, or Cupid, if you will, enfluencing various unions... smiley - smiley

Gerard(not Gez, man....) took me to Chili's(A restaurant out here) for Valentine's Day, and then we went to Target to find some of the Yellow Submarine figurines a co-worker told me about. Well, damn, they didn't have any. And Mom wanted me back to have dinner at home. So I really didn't eat anything.... it stinks. My Mom is quite hard-nosed with me. I want to kick her hiny sometimes....

Ok. I am listening to Janis Joplin. Somehow everything is going to be ok!!!

Some people say that if they won the lottery, they'd probably still work. I don't think these people have any imagination at all.

Happy Birthday! If I'd have known I would have sent an e-birthday card. I got a couple of valentines ones from a friend in Norway, they're wicked.

Adult, Ashmult. I'm 28 & am STILL only doing whatever seems like a good idea at the time.

Don't kick your mum in the arse, you won't get cookie day next year!

Sounds like your life is pretty busy at the moment. Busy's good. Just gotta keep pace with it and have a few laughs when you've got the time. Forget about cleaning up crud when you're with Gez (smiley - winkeye) or Suze.

If I won the lottery, I would visit New Zealand. And then the UK. And then I would go into a recording studio. And I would buy my own label. And promote my own music. And live happily ever after.

Man.

There better be a heap of cash in the lottery. smiley - smiley

Don't worry about my birthday. Your friendship is enough. Oh!!! I didn't tell you-- in my book there is a major character named after you. He's gonna get the girl. One of the two girls. Haven't figured out if I will keep the suspense of him secretly following/looking out for her or not... Kinda want to get someone to have babies... dammit... smiley - smiley

As far as kicking my mother in the rump-roast goes, I really care very little about cookie day next year!!! But I am thankful for my past cookie days, as they might have prepared me for a future in Cake Decorating!!! smiley - smiley

Hey-- is the angel-hooker scan-able!?? I'd like to see my other-self... smiley - smiley

Why NZ? It's just a smaller version of here, but they all talk funny. Actually, a hell of a lot of Kiwis come here to live. And take dodgy telemarketing scam jobs.

I'm a character in a book! Woohoo! Thank you. Is the name Haze or Andrew? Abou the suspense: You could have him and her so obviosly meant for each other and yet both of them ignorant of the fact. The reader would gradually start to think, "If these two don't get together, I'm going to break a lot of stuff". You could then have him take up with the large chested bombshell other one for a while and he's thinking everythings going absolutely swimmingly until the one he's supposed to go for does a minute gesture which makes him realise he's fooling himself thinking he's got it all sorted. Just the sort of thing that usually happens to me, if it helps. Plus it makes the reader so annoyed with the plot of most of the book that they're INCREDIBLY relieved when what they want to happen, happens.

The hooker will shortly (along with about 20 others) be up in an online gallery. Shortly-ish, anyway.

Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde

21 hookers in one gallery!?? Boy.. if walls could talk...

I like your ideas... the thing is, they are meant for one another!! Haze wants to please Alisa, she adores the hell out of him, and neither can stop thinking about the other, basically. The real attraction began when they learned they can both speak English(rare unless you are wealthy on Io, the planet which is the setting of the novel) the pair share views on how their nation is breaking away from the mother-country. Aspects of my book are much like Pre-Revolution America... much of it is misunderstanding, since Alisa tries to conceal her identity at the last minute, before Haze realizes she is responsible for a girl from Earth, and that the pair of them are on their way to help a prominent figure in the rebellion.

A lot of the book has philosophy, and deals with following one's dreams, dealling with life in general... smiley - smiley

I really like the idea of ONE gesture changing Haze's mind... he is initially following Alisa b/c his uncle wants him to stop the girls from sucess. Haze refuses, b/c he does not know the young woman is the same girl he fell for just moments before. Haze is all ready dead set on winning her.....

Upon catching Alisa in conversation with Terra, the girl from Earth, he is happy that he found the object of his affection. But listening to the conversation, the young man discovers that he adores the woman his uncle considers a great threat.

Soooo.... he decides to take the money offered by his uncle and pursue Alisa, giving him a chance to learn more about her, and percieve her as genuine or false. Of course, he is pissed at her for hiding her identity, but he very much admires her wit and courage. smiley - smiley

I really like the set up. Soon she'll believe he has died, but he hasn't. Soon he will protect her from anti-rebellion people, and she will not even know about it. And somewhere in there or after, I'll have her perform some sort of guesture, or perhaps she will get greatly upset with the immature Terra, and her cruel nature might come through... smiley - smiley How knows!??

Oh... and this is all copyrighted, you know!!!

I never planned Haze. His character just came out, and then I liked the name, especially since I had just put up a post to you. But now he is very important to the plot...

NZ is AWESOME!!! I have a best friend that lives there... I have yet to meet her.. smiley - sadface But I have always heard that NZ is MORE beautiful than Australia. At first I adores Australia... something about those accents... smiley - smiley

Haze: Plan C seems to be working

Actually NZ is supposed to be pretty good. The trouble is that the NZ accent to me sounds like I guess a deep south accent does to you:- Doesn't matter what they're saying, you're thinking, '.....you're a moron...'. I know it's bad and probably bigoted, can't help it though. I bet nobody else can tell the difference between an NZ and Aust accent though.

I wonder if the Kiwis have any derogatory generalisations about us? They'd have to. smiley - smiley

I just thought of something, Aussies have no hang-ups about anyone from ANY other country (The one above is only a half-hearted thing), and will greet anyone from anywhere else warmly. But, everyone thinks everyone in every other state is an idiot, think everyone that lives on the west/east side of town is an idiot, and the people that live next door are idiots. But if you're from another country, "Hey, bud! Fancy a beer?".
Weird.

Yep, that's pretty much me. Take the money anyway and start chasing after two girls, mainly the one who's going to ruin his life. Hahahaha.....That is SO me......LOL

I think anyone would grab the money and follow the two sweet-ass chicks.... smiley - smiley

I saw part of this boat race on ESPN2 at work yesterday.. and NZ was winning... for about the eighth time in a row!!!

Everyone has one reason or another why someone else stinks.... but rarely do we see how failed our own kind is. Americans are stupid!!! Easily entertained, low morals... smiley - smiley

Cool.... might get a buzz this weekend... kinda/really wanna get naked.... smiley - smiley Oh yes. This you all ready know. Ah, to be young!!! smiley - smiley

A towel has many uses, you remember. Just don't hang it back up in the bathroom.

The race was probably the Americas cup. It's run every year and the US held it consecutively for 150-odd years. Then, about ten years ago, Australia won it. It was nearly a national holiday. The prime minister of Australia declared, piseed, at 5AM when the live telecast finished here, 'Any boss who sacks anyone for not turning up for work today is a bum'. That's our head of state. Go Hawkie!

Not a bad job of stalking, BTW. smiley - smiley

Granddad passed away about the same time Gerard left our house... woah... This was the night before last.

It's ok. We've been waiting on it, in a way. Granddad's been in some pain at least since Thanksgiving(late November). He was diagnosed with lung/bone cancer.... it was a bout of pneumonia that gently took him. Don't think I can spell. He held on until his daughters(my mother and aunt) came to see him at the hospital.

Returning to my hometown where I grew up(on the other side of the Rockies)later this week for the funeral services. I will get to see my family again, some members I have not visited with in person for a few years. And we can honor one of the greatest people I have ever known.
