I have 2 electric, one acoustic and one electro acoustic. I can't play them all at the same time, but that doesn't stop me from trying smiley - smiley

nbot at all, my dad is and when me and my sisters were younger he got us the smaller one to try and get us to learn, somehow it ended up in my bedroom and rather than fork out an arm and a leg for a new one I just decided to hang onto it and teach myself using tab and stuff...think I'd be better at bass though.

Just noticed the conversation has shifted in the direction of instruments (AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHH I hear you say) does anyone know why a seasoned rhythm section like me and the drummer I know can't find a guitarist in sunderland who is (at least) as good as me on the guitar????? (btw I play bass in bands and guitar on my own recordings)

smiley - ok

Why can't you get a guitarist in Sunderland...not a clue considering I'm up in Perthshire. Have you tried advertising? Like in record shops?

Yeah I tried that Everyone I find I end up teaching the D major chord (or sometimes Bb chord) to and then showing them how to do everything and waiting while they flail badly, sorry to rant like that guys I'll say no more about my guitarist seeking problems

If you're anything like me, you've been alternating between hiding in a cupboard, shaking, and making mental notes to yourself which go along the lines of "if I ever find myself in posession of a time machine, I'll come back to now and give myself all the answers."

Otherwise, you'd be doing something productive, like revising.

if altering between hyper and panicking counts as revision then yes

Don't like the 'r' word. Second only to the 'w' word in terms of offensiveness

Hope you do o.k and it goes well anyway :D

BTW, shouldn't you really be revisng rather than sitting on here? Naughty naughty

revisinng at liek 12o'clock at night? what would be the point in that, plus I'd had a bit to drink last night so it probably wouldn't go in.

I have half an hour at school this morning so I'll revise in the common room until I go over for my exam.
