Em,
A small typo, The Stackridge album should have been Friendliness, I couldn't make my mind up between that and Mr Mick! (another Stackridge album.) Anyway, I'd love to hear your compiled results. I had to lie a little about the top ten albums otherwise it would have been nearly all Led Zep and Yes! So I made a "rule" to only include one per artist.
Cheers for noo, bonnie lass,
Philbert

Don't worry I'll change them whenever people want them (the announcment on the Post and my own lacking attempts at advertising have meant input has been slow.
My list is going to change imminantly...I keep finding albums in my rack and thinking "oh, my god, I need to put that in...and that!" I've managed to get over 50 in my list now...maybe I should up the contribution?

Em,
I have a 400 CD changer which is not quite full. I love most of what's in there. I'm an aging hippy that made an album once and even had my pic in guitarist magazine (why I'm not quite sure!) I love music. My tastes are eclectic, but certainly not catholic. I also recognise in others a sincere love of music and discernment, even if I don't like what they like and I respect those tastes. In a way, music is a bit like smoking (which I hate), enjoying it in public is often not appreciated (30 seconds of the spice girls and I begin to feel violent!)
I am sure that your contributions will grow (they can't shrink can they?) and keep up the guitar. I wish I had

My music taste is fairly ecclectic...I'm a 17 yr old with nearly 200 CD's you've got to admit it's impressive. Ranges from the calm (Badly Drawn Boy and Travis) to the slightly older (lots of Beatles and James Taylor), loud bashy stuff (Lit, Nirvana, Fuel, THe Strokes Incubus, Greenday, King Adora, Four Star Mary and Nerf Herder) and girly crap (Fiona Apple, Alanis Morissette, Letters to Cleo, Pink, Heather Nova and Kathyrn Williams) I like most things...
Apart from "Wetflies" !!
The Guitar...eek I'm not really very musically in tune. can't read music very well. it's weird though, I can read music for recorder but not piano and it's the same stuff but I have all summer to practice
I respect most people's taste even though most of my friends don't respect mine (I'm an individual, not a trendie or a mosher) and public, I love singing and when I shop I sing along to what ever's playing in the background...but can i get up on stage or even sing if someone can't remember lyrics...can i heck!

I can play tab...I'd just like to learn chords to make it sound less like me pluking random strings and more like the songs they're supposed to be
