In 3rd Rock from the Sun, they used the following cheerleader chant to learn pi:
Sine, sine, cosine, sine!
Three point one-four-one-five-nine!
Oh, and you have "Policeman and women" instead of "Policemen and women".

And if you fancy French as a language :
"Que j'aime a faire apprendre ce nombre utile aux sages, Immortel Archimede, artiste ingenueux, qui de ton silence sait priser la valeur"
That's 22 decimals, enough for most applications...
