Montana Redhead (now with letters)

I could never remember the names of the Great Lakes, until my fifth grade teacher taught us "HOMES"

H for Lake Huron
O for Lake Ontario
M for Lake Michigan
E for Lake Erie
S for Lake Superior

and a friend of mine knows all of the US presidents in order. She learned it in 4th grade, but to this day, has to sing it to remember. I think music is, indeed, a wonderful way to remember things.
