Speaking from my lofty 47 year old perch, I would have to say that getting older is definitely a good thing.
For a start off, it means you are faced with the proof that you have, in fact, survived this far!
A really big plus is that the age of your partner in chronological terms is no longer a real issue; it is more about how you actually connect.
Whatever happens , Greta, do, do, do keep on writing!
Terri.

I suppose I have to get used to starting to look older. I was never a striking beauty in the first place, so losign whatever freshness there is to young age is saddening. I do, however, have accumulated some wisdom, and my writing has improved immensely as a result of my experience.
Don't worry Terri, I'll never stop.

Yes, it must be said that the visible fading bit isn't fun! But as I was never a great one for looking in the mirror anyway, it probably doesn't bother me too much.
I've certainly got wrinkly bits & saggy bits where I didn't use to have, but the basic face seems pretty much as it was when I was about 3!
Whatever, it doesn't seem to be as important as it used to; for some reason, people seem to find me attractive & I can only conclude that it's more personality based than physical; but obviously there has to be the chemistry there as well, which you will never know until you actually meet someone in RL.
Have you heard anything from the publisher yet? Time for a gentle kick up the bum maybe?
Terri.

As a general rule, you have to leave two to four months before you go anywhere near calling a publisher. I still have to send another copy of the manuscript (I was too tired to write out a cover letter last night, and if I can't do it properly I'd really rather not do it at all), and I hope to be able to write something over the weekend (I'll be out tonight and tomorrow night too).

Yes, it's not easy to be patient with these people is it!
Anyway, have fun tonight, don't do anything I wouldn't do!

I have tons of friends but my love life is a little crappy, Jeremy I tend to get rejected by the men I like. (As everybody who's known me for a while on Hootoo has been told in detail )
