Yeah, I have. Sort of a good argument in favour of drugs "clearing your vision", which I never did fully subscribe to, but can see the point of. I'm not a heavy drinker, but sometimes, when I'm that tiny bit squiffy, it feels like I can see things more clearly, free of the insecurity and self-doubt that plagues me in my sober life.
The target being, to reach that clarity without the aid of alcohol...
Trying hard.
Still, the QOTSA song is called "Feelgood Hit of the Summer". Love that kind of sad irony in songwriting...
