This morning, I discovered that my favorite smiley ever (besides the middle finger) is here!! I expect to use it a lot.

Although I do worry it might lead to a reduction in the level of caustic wit normally displayed in engaging with trolls. might be a good way of saying it, but a well turned phrase is more interesting to read.

And I've just seen Mr D deploy it to stunning effect.

I wonder if that can be put into a permanent clipboard? I would find myself employing it with nearly every post by atleast one person, and most posts by several others ...

I'm not a fan of smiley congas in general, but there are some times when words fail me. Or it's not worth wasting my breath. Or when one smiley is worth a thousand words, no matter how sarcastic.

I don't think I'll use it much (if at all) - or any of the other new smileys - I never used their counterparts, either (except some, but I don't know why I would write them backwards, make typos and end up with no smiley displaying at all). They are nice, though, and I'm sure they'll be used widely here on h2g2.

As far as backwards smilies go, I'm glad we've got at last. The rocket smiley always seemed to be going in the wrong direction, to me.

I never said they are. I only said I can't see me using any of the new smileys a lot. That's no criticism at all, I like them.
