I agree. I tried three different Borders locations, three 7-Eleven stores, and the tobacco shop down the block. It *must* have been under-distributed deliberately, I agree.

As we speak I'm reloading my 'Pod with something called Linux Banshee. It works waaaaaay better than gtkpod, that I used to use.

I'm still holding off on a portable mp3 player until I've found a suitable replacement for my dining set. I hate it.

I'll admit I'm not signed in on a daily basis or anything- usually only on nights when there's band practice or a gig I can't attend. Friday nights are a good bet, even if i don't *appear* to be online, I may just be avoiding random messages.

I've decided that I'm quite happy with my Wordpress journal, its layout and functionality. So while I still intend to remain active on h2g2 in terms of conversation, and hopefully contributing to the guide, I'm going to try to refrain from adding further journal entries. Although I'd like to thank you all for the wonderful tips regarding mp3 players and video capture equipment.

As far as I know, you should be able to post links. I did see your posting 9didn't pay attention to whether or not there were any links..at least I don't recall having noticed any).

Glad you got my email. I spent a good chunk of my lunch hour writing that!
