I´d like to introduce Ishta, the tortoiseshelled cat, Queen of Hill Road and the surrounding Flat Lands.
Well, actually she doesn´t have a tortoiseshell. Her colours resembles of it, according to Ms S, a well known catlady I used to work with.
At the time being she´s grumpier than ever. Lousy weather so she refuses to go outdoor. Wrong food, eats occasionally when not seen. Present food of choice is fresh BOILED cod - occasionally found at the local fishmonger´s - and supposed to be dinner for me and the hatchlings.
Usually cuddly around 4.50 AM, when I´m a very proud portion of Pudding.
So, does my cutie qualify into Cantankerous Cats' Corner?

Most certainly, by the sound of it! Ishta has been duly inducted into Cantankerous Cats' Corner, complete with her very own explanatory footnote.
Hope you manage to preserve some for yourself and the hatchlings!

Thanx!
Well, yesterday´s dinner was partly eaten by me and the youngest hatchling. Part of cod to , the rest we managed to rescue from Her Majesty.

Can I put my Masky's name down, she is the grumpyest cat in the world, she has a particular 'Mrowf' which will let you know she's not in the mood

Not in the mood for what, exactly? Life?
Masky has been added to Cantankerous Cats' Corner. Interesting name, 'Masky' - I have this odd mental picture of a sort of feline Phantom of the Opera!

She's called masky because the way her stripes meet it looks like she's wearing a mask
She's a VERY grumpy cat

Well you must add my Bilbo (althought he is right next to being called Harvey after Harvey Pekar, the grump supreme of Cleveland, Ohio) since he can sit in front of you and sulk like nobody's business. He also has the sheer ability to neither see nor hear you until you are holding a can of something nice.
He has never once come when called. He'll let me pick him up occasioanally but always makes a point of acting like it really is disrupting his grumpster schedule.
He also snorts.

Bilbo sounds splendidly sulky, arietty. Any who can be compared to that great Hero of P.U.D.D.I.N.G. Harvey Pekar is clearly eminently suited to Cantankerous Cats' Corner, so I've duly added Bilbo's name there!

I have acouple of Siamese cats. Atleast 1 is definitely grumpy. His name is Max and he'll growl loudly if you so much as poke him, sometimes... The other is Mitz(ey). She may not be that generally mean, but she sure is insanely annoying, what with jumping on tabletops and knocking things down. Do they make it to the list?

Thank you, but small gripe : Their names look better as "Mitz and Max", because it's like "Mix and Match".

It makes me proud to be the proprietor of P.U.D.D.I.N.G.. Our members can always find something to be grumpy about.
OK - I think it's sorted now.
