Hercule Poirot

Post 1

Thursday

Being permanently unhappy for some reason or other, Poirot would seem to be a good addition to the heroes list.

Titania (gone for lunch)

Hmmm... not sure I agree - I seem to remember him being quite perky at times

That's only because he's about to cause someone misery by solving the murder they commited.

I have given this matter serious consideration, and on balance I think I agree with Titania. We mustn't drop our standards of grumpiness, especially as the 'Heroes' list is getting rather long. I know that old Hercule can get admirably pernickety - over his food, amongst other things - but if you measure him against the magnificently morose Inspector Morse smiley - sadfacesmiley - alesmiley - musicalnote, I think he seems positively perky.

Nevertheless, interesting to hear from you, Thursday. Especially as you appear to be a society rather than a person. smiley - cdouble

Who's that other grumpy who-dunnit bloke (the one who smokes, moans, is overweight, scratches his a**e in public, makes cynical remarks etc) ?
