h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well seems like nobody could be bothered to have a go at the Pop Pickers Puzzler or if they did then they haven`t sent in any answers so I`m not going to bother staying up half the night looking for lyrics, writing them out then typing them on here, then checking my emails to see if i have anyone sending in answers. What is the point. Thanks to those who have took the time to at least have a look but i`m afraid i won`t be doing anymore.

hi marc.I had a look as well,and i'm afraid i was was a bit of a defeatist,i didn't had the time to start searching through books etc,and the answers didn't jump up and bite me.I was quite excited to see another quiz,but it was a hard one!!!!
maybe an easy one to begin with??

I think that the passing of Christopher Reeve, aka Superman, among other staring roles, should instill in us all "Never give up"....
After his riding accident in 1995, becoming paralized, he didn't give up... He fought for his life, and for a cure for his disability..
Sadly, on Sunday 10th October, he lost his battle due to heart failure at the age of 52 years...
I for one am thankful for my lot here...

Seems wierd thinking of chris as Superman bullets couldn`t kill him etc. and yet a riding accident was a conributary factor to his death..I bet he would have given anything to swap the real life personna for his alter ego...RIP Chris you inspired us all to take our blankets of our beds and try to fly..
Regards the puzzler I have had a think while i have been on holiday and i will put the answers on later today then you can all kick yourselves as to how easy they are and you can go round all week singing the songs while i try to find some REALLY EASY ones for you all to have a go at next week..

Helen I have put the answers on the pop pickers so you can go and have a look and you may realise that last brain cell died ages ago and someone replaced it with a swinging brick..lol

Marc e-mailed me sevral days ago and told me that his digi box was broken and it would be a few weeks before he can get it fixed.
So he have to go to library when he uses PC and come here
He asked me of giving his love to all his friends here and he was not ignoring you just waiting for Telewest to fix my box.
