Just been mixing up some Beatles tunes for a theatre production.
Bigods, it still sounds good nearly fifty years on. I can't think of another artist who would have me doing little dances around the living room as I proof-listened.
Even Octopus's Garden sounds better than I remember.

I'm completely dry, I'll have you know.
There's none of the really weird stuff - mostly light and frothy stuff for house music to keep the audience in the mood: Twist & Shout, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Day Tripper, stuff like that. I don't really see Revolution #9 as being in keeping with the youth theatre production.

I'm currently in the midst of an oft-repeated exercise: of accompanying my drive to and from work with The Beatles albums in chronological order. One a week.
I'm up to A Hard Day's Night.
And each time I listen I find something new to marvel at
