Yay! The nasty Inspectors have gone!
In fairness, the Science chappy was really nice; he saw two of my lessons, and was dead impressed by my Y11 class' IT skills.
But I ain't half knackered.

Cool , I agree with 2legs, it is time to have some booze
Out of curiosity, what did the inspectors look like?
I have this mental image of identical looking men in pinstripe suits and bowler hats, with a palid complexion, a Hitler mustache and sneering voice saying "You're not doing whats in the Curriculum." making notes on clipboards.

Funny you should mention it, but mine did have a pinstripe suit and a Hitler moustache.
He was only about five foot five, though. Not very scary.

Did your spoilt brats, I mean pupils, behave or play up when the inspection was on? Hope you hid your torture stuff in your desk whilst the inspectors were about... How many canes do you have now?

The kids, damn their hides, were immaculately behaved during inspections, and turned out loads of work above their usual standard. Then they were hideous when the Inspector wasn't in.
Exactly the same as they always do when the Head or a member of the Senior Management walks in.

It wasn't Ron Mael out of Sparks, was it?

Wait 'till the report comes out - this will be followed by persecution of the innocent if its bad, or grabbing of the kudos if its good.
As the NQT, you are top of the list for option A and bottom of the list for option B

Yeah, don't I know it.

Well, he did mutter something about this school not being big enough for the both of us.
