Yes...I think Mr Ming's chippy may have been responsible.
Perhaps I should have thought more carefully about his name before buying the battered sausage.

You've forgotten two keys rules of take-away usage there:
A) If the take-away's name makes to wrinkle your nose, don't go there (ref. 'Nads' in Derby)
B) *Never* buy 'English' take-away food from a shop with a non-English name.
That's the second time I've known you to make that cock-up, you may the classic amateur's mistake of getting a burger from the Spice Hut in Burton.
