Am new, so been looking at other resercher sites. Scary or what! Don't get much time to spend on h2g2 but have been made very welcome. I Know nothing about 'The Hitchikers Guide The Galaxy' other than it being an old T.V series!
I was drawn to this place by its warmth and knowledge. Hope I am right!

A friendly hello, or nothing at all might have made a good start for a newcomer, but that remark to someone who grieves her father and her stillborn grandchild isn't nice. I suggest an apology, and then perhaps people will not treat you the way you treated GB...
