Got back from the hospital about 20 mins ago I think


I have

One hole in my knee

One Gash along my upper arm


One gash along my thigh


Now you may wonder how I've managed this, (well some of you won't because you know how clumsy I am) in my defence it wasn't my fault


Basically I had an argument with a lorry and I came off worse

*sigh*

To explain

I was out on my bike (it's a yam thunderace in case you were wondering in a nice shade of red lovely ) anyhoo I was on my way back home, when a lorry decided to pull out of the juction in front of me.


*sigh* theres me thinking, this doesn't look, and it's going to hurt because I can't stop.

Divine insperation saved me in the nick of time I slid the bike (which is now a mess *fume*)

Ripped leathers and loads of blood later, the lorry driver tries to tell me he didn't see me!!!!!!!!

WHAT A BRIGHT RED BIKE ON A ING SUNNY DAY WITH IT'S HEAD LIGHT ON !!!!!!!!!!!!

GIVE ME A BREAK PEOPLE!!!!!! THE DOSEY DIDN'T EVEN LOOK!!!!!!!!

I'm ing lucky that I just came out of it with two gashes and a hole in my knee


Oh and my ing leathers are ripped and then the ambalance men cut them *sigh*

I too came back from the hospital today!

I hope you got the lorry drivers details so that your insurance company can bankrupt him. Oh and Ambulance Chasers Direct could probably help you get compensation

there was a van driver behind me who witnessed it


and scared the out of my sister my telling her I'd been hit by a lorry and giving her no other details at all

It's nothing new I'm afraid Cal, for some reason people on 4 wheels very rarely see people on 2, my ex hubby had 3 bike accidents through "Not Being Seen" he always wore a yellow flurecant vest, even in bright sunshine and the Honda had a loud engine so you could hear him as well as see him. I've been missed by millimeters on my push bike when I've been in a cycle lane too, to lorry drivers it's pretty red tarmac with a few squiggly lines.
