No No
I went away from hoo2 for a while and when I came back all my friends had either left or didn't have the time to drop by so hardly anyone comes by now. So you're not infringing or anything.
*Hands him the plate of cookies*

fine
I'm trying to explain to my dad how to open his e-mails over the phone and it's very trying
Hellloooo
Flamestrike Posted Aug 23, 2004
I bet.... well at least he isn't asking you to setup the e-mail account or have you had to do that already??????
Hellloooo
Cal - interim high priest of the Church of the Holy Tail Posted Aug 23, 2004
Up until yesterday he was sending e-mails from my house (he just writes the things so I use the term 'sending' loosly, I went to pick him up yesterday and he told me he wanted to buy his own computer. So off we go get him a dell, I set the whole thing up for him put him on AOL and show him how to get access to the syetem etc. My final parting words were do you want me to write it down for you. No he says I'll manage o.k. Which results in the half hour phone call I've just had with him, what makes matters worse is I have never used aol so I don't really know how everything appears in their browser.

Are you based in England? If so completly different from any other web page ever... It is set up like it is a website for children with all pretty colours, pics and drop down menus for access to everything and the annoying habit of only allowing you to view the internet from one window at a time...
I hated it... in fact come to think of it I think our company intranet is based on it....

Cal - interim high priest of the Church of the Holy Tail Posted Aug 23, 2004
yep in England
I'm on Bt Broadband so, but that was the only isp on his computer and I never thought about it until we were setting it up.
But it's gonna be a long hard slog cause he has a terrible memory. e.g I asked him yesterday if he could drop me off at the railway station on Friday as i'm going to London. he said this was fine now he swears blind I said thursday. Daft as a brush my father. Its just as well he can only use one window it would completly confuse him if he could open numerous ones.

I now work from home, whilst looking after my nephew while my sister is at work. I am also studying to become a website design manager.
I like motorbikes and have a thunderace, boke my leg badly last year whilst riding it (not my fault car driver said 'he didn't see me')

Flamestrike Posted Aug 23, 2004
Cool.. well I wish you the best of luck mate at your studies....
Non-driver myself though there does seem to be a lot of motorcyclists online here....
I am someone who reads, writes and RP's for fun and is dammed to work for the AA in RL....

Flamestrike Posted Aug 23, 2004
Clive Barker I am mixed on - I would recommend the guards series by Prachett... have you read black house - sequel to the talisman?
Hellloooo
Cal - interim high priest of the Church of the Holy Tail Posted Aug 23, 2004
I have got it but not got round to reading it yet
Hellloooo
Flamestrike Posted Aug 23, 2004
it is damm good... and if you liked talisman will probably like this even more...
Also the Dark Tower series is one that will be enjoyed by people who like the Talisman; Dark Tower story even mentioned in Black House too..

Does it have a good ending sometimes (the dark tower) I think stephen king rushes his endings and I'm left disapointed
