The move went ok, well as ok as a move can be ,
nothing got broke, and we didn't get lost, so I think it was one of our better moves

Mrs manda likes it better here,she has breathing problems,so the air is cleaner for her here (She can shout at me better now )

There were no phone here to start with so there was no internet
and yes, I did get Did you get h2g2 withdrawl

but we have got it now
it is only dial up at the moment, but it is better than nothing

I did some ACEing over the last few day, I have never seen so many newbies

I grew up by the sea - well, Grimsby on the corner of the Humber Estuary and North sea.

When I moved inland I really missed it. The air smells different and the chilly northeasterly winds were always blowing in fresh air from the sea. Now I am in the north east of Edinburgh so get the same chilly winds! I am 10 minutes on the bus from the sea and it is just like being back in Grimsby. (except a bit posher )

I have got a dial up Internet, so I have to use the phone line to get one here, but I am waiting for an important phone call, so I "STILL" can't use Internet

My friend Jint >> U516129 lives in Edinburgh, we went to see her last year, we might go up to see her again this year (depending on the money situation ) maybe we can have a miny meet

I am on dial up, it is a flat rate. The benefit of not being able to use the phone has meant that my phone bill has dropped from 70+ a quarter to minus 10 a quarter!! Yep - they owe me money!!! So I am going to get my DD payments reduced - eventually - can't face the silly BT automatic menus at the moment

there is 2 of us using the same internet conection, so at the moment we have to share the dial up, take it in turns on the internet,
but when we get the broadband we can both be on at the same time

and apart from that, this dial up is driving me up the wall

I think they are purposely making dial up slower so everyone gets so fed up with it and gets broadband instead.
