The Dragonlady~There are no ugly women in the world, only neglected ones! Started conversation Sep 2, 2002
HI!
My beautiful grandson's name is "Ronin". I believe it means something like "Senseiless Samurai". At least that's what the comic book said. My daughter took Japanese for a year, and says it's true.
Ta! for now

ah, yes...actually, it refers to a sumurai without a master, like one who's lord has been killed in some silly feudal thing.
So they basically wandered around, a) killing people, or b)helping them. This, of course, depende on the actual samurai.
So come to think of it, yes, senseless(or purposeless) samurai is actually the best translation.
Ta for now ^^

Perfect name!
Ronin's Dad is a "deadbeat dad", that would rather be playing at 'Vampire, or Werewolf role-playing games', than seeing, providing for, or spending time with his son.
He doesn't have an appreciation for the joy he is missing.
Oh well! More blessings for me!
And, since Ronin is two years old, he is often "full of murderous rage", of late, as his Mom so aptly puts it. I think that covers point 'a'.
He also loves helping his Gramma (which he calls 'Munga') tidy up. His favorite thing to do around the house, is to flush the toilet. So, we have to hide the toilet paper, as he tends to throw entire rolls in, as a way of "helping" clean up. Then again, he tossed the one kitten in yesterday.....
I am going to go back to sleep now. I only got up because some nice person shot my house an hour ago, and I figured that since I was already up, I could take a peek at h2g2, and see what was up. It is, after all, the middle of the night.
for now!

Ha, perhaps he is not so purposless as we think.
Maybe he has some grand sceam that is simply far too complicated for our matured(mostly) minds to grasp.

Yes!......
I am quite sure that Ronin has hatched an "evil baby plot to rule the world". It is simply our job to discover what it is, before he can bring it to fruition.
I believe he uses his absolutely adorable, cherubic, and innocent manner (well practiced), to hide his real intentions from the rest of the unsuspecting populus. (Especially the little girl babies he tends to flirt with. He really is quite the 'ladies man' already.)
