I'm in the middle of re-fitting my kitchen.
Mater and Pater getting new one, I'm getting their old cupboards, new work tops and a new sink and washing machine.
Tomorrow is plumbing day. Parents arrive, rip out old sink, take old sink and washing machine to the tip, fit new sink and washing machine, go down the pub and relax.
Phone call 10 minutes ago:
Bruce (for it is he): Err, you know we're doing the plumbing tomorrow?
Me: Uh hu.
Bruce: I've just done the washing up and there's water pissing all over the back yard. The drain's blocked again. Somewhere between our house and next door's.
Me: Oh, fxck it.
