I *think* Fort Gomer was similar in size and shape to Fort Elson, both smaller than the larger forts in between. The Gosport forts are on a bit of a backburner at the moment, though, but I hope to at least visit Fort Brockhurst this year on an open day – alas it isn't open very often.

You are in for a treat brockhurst is in almost original condition. The casemates fully restored and painted, its a trip back in time
I looked for Gomer on the web, it looks like it was one of a kind a basic floor plan There are one or two photos on the WWW though but not much detail.

Roman defended settlements and naval bases can count - so we can add Winchester, Silchester and Portchester.
This is all we agreed to do back in 2010, but we got a bit sidetracked so I thought I'd bring it up again and make an official plan of it.
Feel free to put your Monarchy page in the University when you're ready!
