Project: The Japanese Samurai
A basic acount of the famed Japanese feudal warrior-aristocracy, and the society that produced and surrounded them.
Specific Areas:
- Pre-Samurai Japan and the Rise of the Warrior Clans
- The Age of the Samurai
- Samurai Society
- Bushido and Martial Arts
- Decline and Legacy of the Samurai
Start and finish dates: This project was originated as a regular Guide Entry, but due to it's length it was recommended in peer review that I break it up, cross-reference and put the material forward as a University Project. Therefore, the project is already more or less complete. If it gets the go-ahead as a project, Konrad has offered to sub it once he's finished the project he is working at the moment.
