Thanks kitykat
It's really nice to see so many happy people working together towards one goal. I use to do a lot of writing, (poetry mostly) but life sort of got in the way of things. I am hoping to get back in the flow of things with this site.

Definitely the place! If I've discovered nothing else here it's this: The inhabitants are exceptionally smart, highly creative, warmly welcoming and embracing ( CLEAN!! ) and totally supportive. I'd love to read some of what you've written if you'd like to share KAT

You can either go to my personal space or A187229 .
That should be the guideml clinic.
Or try this one.
A155909
anyone of those will give you a list of smilies. and to use any of the smilies in conversation is all you have to do is put the type of smiley in these brackets<> . I hope that is clear.
Guideml is easy to learn. I am computer illiterate and i figured it out.

Indeedy - I find myself typing them in on other sites! Do you have any ideas for new ones ? I'd like to see one with a light bulb for "idea". KK

I'm really getting the hang of this. Thanks.
Ideas, tricky. How about a piza? Or maybe some more professions? I haven't had my yet, so I'm not being very creative. I have lots of time to think about it at work though.
Hi Ray of Sunshine!
kittykat Posted Apr 6, 2002
Ah yes - work is definitely the place to be pondering and musing on the evolution, procreation and proliferation of smilies !!!

Well, no smilies ideas. But I did get called Ebert by a sweet old man. Isn't telesales fun? It does leave lots of time for writing though.
I wonder why so many people answer the telephone 'who's that' in England. I find it really rude. Or is that just me.
Hi Ray of Sunshine!
kittykat Posted Apr 7, 2002
Well I'm not a sweet old man so I shan't call you Ebert . There seems to be an abundance of rudeness on the planet . I live in N.Y. so I've had plenty of first-hand experience . How do you like your job? I've been looking for something using the computer but everything appears to be an expensive course or big up-front investment . Now that the nice weather is here (driving in snow is NOT fun ) it leaves more options. But I keep reading about the millions of folks who work at home via their computer. That's exactly what I want to do . Rather difficult to find . kk
