Hi Ray of Sunshine!

Working from home with a computer. Tricky. What are your hobbies? Can you tern them into something you can contract out to businesses and work your own hours? The only thing I can think of. I've been looking for an idea so that I can start my own business so that I only have to work part time. Nothing yet. Let's keep looking.

Ebert is obviously a sage soul who has evolved through the eons and been imbued with a wealth of wisdom and affectionate advice ! Good to hear from you. I've subscribed to these various offers for work-at-home and out of all of them ( there seem to be zillions of them ) one or two MIGHT have value. I'll keep you informed . As far as my hobbies (cooking, gardening, reading, crosswords and mental challenge games, painting, etc.), there's nothing I can think of that's marketable. It was suggested as a part-time job I look into data entry. But to be frank, my typing skills are not that great and they're hiring people who can pass an "instant test". I took one - minimum 45 wpm and top keypad return - and flunked miserably. Was told to keep practicing which is a great excuse to spend time posting! I'm just preparing for a new position! Isn't it grand how I lie to myself? Oh, thank goodness for survival mechanisms! What are you up to? Anything exciting? What are your hobbies?

Hobbies; computers of course, writing, walking (rambling), reading, drinking, travelling. That's about it. I've been slacking off this week (calling in ill to work and everything) because I have been writing a stupid book about English people in France. I just now finished the first draft. I feel so happy.
Work from home would be great. That way it would be far easier to phone in ill. Really, it is a lot of hard work. My father had his own busyness from home. It was a hiking company in Canada. Lots of fun, but so very much work.
Your hobby of crosswords and mental games, have you ever tried making a crossword? Difficult, but if you've got the knack...
Definitely, posting is a good way to keep up your typing skills. Now that I'm back in the real world, I will be practicing my writing skills by posting more and more and more...
