looking at theprices of stuff (the average wedding is £18,000 these days!) i think we might be rounding up yous lot for your varioous skills , caemaking, flower arranging, cooking, photos etc

Going for the old "White Wedding" with all the trimmings is not an option in my case I have 3 boys from two relationships and, although, I love likklist to be a pageboy at mine, life gets in the way...

Traditonal Handfasting is gonna be the way to go! Somewhere significant. Reception also. Legalities can be sorted before (or after) You need to enjoy the day you are (in the eyes of your peers) bethrothed.

will do the handfasting thing but thats not gonna amuse the smellies, so thatll be small n privae , then civil jobby with reception

You don't *have* to spend £18,000 ... my sister had a lovely wedding this summer for £1,200 - and they had about 70 guests.
