Ive just been to the drs to ask for a dietician referral due to the pain in my back recently n whatnot. Now it's no secret I'm a bit of a fat old woofer but even i was shocked when she had me get on the scales! 19 n a fecking half stone almost
im quite ashamed to say thats the biggest ive ever been..even when i put on tons of weght n developed my belly through that gigantic 10lb cyst..no wonder im getting backache n my knes shake when i try to get out of the bath... im the size of a cow!
due to my recent tiredness etc i also have to have my liver, thyroid n iron levels checked so maybe theyll find an underlying course for my increasing porkiness!
Mooooooooooooo!

The thyroid can well cause this gain of weight,if it doesn't work, chances to lose weight are slim. So est get it checked

If you find out a way to control the will power, let me know! However, young lass, at least I have the excuse I'm going through the menopause. Which shouldn't be an excuse, I suppose. Nope, I'm expanding fast and my mum gave me a good telling off at the weekend about it, too, when she saw me. (She's been doing that since I was 14) If only I knew how to lose weight .......

Serephina, seems you've got yourself a man who likes what you've got I do too and it took a while for me to realise that it was ok so inflate those assets
As you said, can't win. If you want to lose weight for your health then by all means do it. Not that I'm in any way successful in this - but I stopped gaining weight (at the beached whale stage) by maintaining a certain (minimal = walking or swimming) level of exercise and allowing my self to binge premen but not other times. It is the night time snacks that get me so I started going to bed earlier - and found out that when I am tired, I eat more . If I gain any more, I have trouble with my hips and if I lose any more I can't have my bingey moments, so I decided I'll stay here for a while. I also found that often when I am hungry, I am actually thirsty. This from someone who rarely feels full. Still the size of a house, but more accepting of it.

I just received this in an email from a friend in the US... I pass it on to you, S.
"...you feel "less than."
Woman-to-Woman Encouragement
Someone will always be smarter.
Their house will be bigger.
They will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school. And their partners will fix more things around the house.
So let it go and love you and your circumstances. Think about it.
The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
And the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children.
The richest woman you know - she's got the car, the house, the clothes - might be heartbreakingly lonely.
So, love you. Love who you are right now. Tell yourself, "I am too blessed to be stressed."
Be blessed ladies and pass this on to encourage another woman.
"To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world."
Possibilities and miracles are one and the same."

I wrote a long post here this morning and the servers ate it. Or chucked it in the bin because they were "too busy".
It was to the effect that we don't judge you on what you look like, but if you feel you should lose weight for health reasons (so do I) it is the best - and only genuine - motivation. And the most likely to succeed.
You are attractive, sweet and funny, so don't bother doing it for us, we like you as you are. Just think of yourself and how you'll feel more energetic.
Have you got a diet sheet yet? Are you going to get your thyroid tested?

I knew I forgot to do someting when I was out today! I didn't book my blood test! She wants one for my bloodcount and ne for u&e ,thyroid and liver.Ill try to remember to do it tomorrow.
I haven't heard from the dietician yet but hopefully it'll be soon.
Its definately solely for my benefit I want to lose weight. I cant wear the clothes I like besause they either dont come in my size or are way out of my budget in my size..(places like evans are so expensive!)that doesnt do much for a girls confidence! I also find it difficult to walk anyway, i get so out of breath from carryong so much weight, and i certainly dont have the energy to chase about with my 8 year old! who also gets the ridicule of having a fat mummy! and now im getting pain if i sleep on my back, walk or walk anywhere 'and' am scared to get in the bbath unless someones here in case i cant get ourtt, something has to be done!
