There is never a good time to stop smoking.
Life's like that. Something will always come along and cause you stress in some shape or form, making you say "I can't quit today because..."
So, actually, the best time to stop smoking is on the day your boyfriend dumps you, the cat gets run over, and you get fired from your job because of something someone else did wrong. Because if you can quit smoking on a day like that, you'll never smoke again.
So, and remember, it's easy!

I've been reading up on the psychological stuff, and it does sound easier when you know more what you're dealing with! ..why you do it, creating replacement habits, outdated beliefs you dont even realise you still have etc..
I just texted an old friend who's numberI lost ages ago n a mutal friend gave me again n she doesn't seem to rmeber me!

Well, if you just texted 'hello, it's me', and with a new mobile number, no wonder she took a moment to find out

Josh just confessed to trying a cigarette at his friends I got him to take a puff of mine n held his nose so he get the full effect n coughed! never againhe says! i hope so..
one of my reasons for quitting is his health, and seeing him grow up..

I hope so! i tried letting him have a single puff once beforebut he obviously didn't inhale enough to make him feel ill and cough..it might sound harsh..but its a serious habit! hope he has a really good think before doing doing it again cos his friends are..

I inadvertently grassed on my cousin smoking to my auntie years ago and she make her smoke a whole packet
She still smokes though!

I don't think i'd be quite that harsh..maybe if he was older!
Perhaps,if this doesn't work..seeing me struggle to quit next weekend will! you'd think seeing whats it's done to me anyway wouldve sunk in..

Everyone in my family smokes apart from me and my dad (well, he's a non-smoker but still indulges sometimes so I don't know if that counts). I never got the urge as I hate smoking - the smell, the cost, the bad health...

I wish i'd never started I've needed ,and wanted to stop for years, but I guess its true about it being more psychological!(habits n thought programmes etc) so im working on changing that too now..

I haven't no..

Before, during or after...he actually recommends you continue smoking whilst you're reading the book. I read it about a week after I quit, though, and it made me "stay quit", I reckon.
