A North Devon College has been renamed after Celtic Saint Petroc. This is the saint that the Devon Flag has been dedicated to by popular demand.

A little controversial it seems, judging by the responses.
Most of the controversy seemed to be focussed on the £1/3m paid to marketers - which does sound a little steep.
Also ome respondents don't think it gives a clear indication of the geographical location of the college, but I think that is a passing issue.
As the college says, how ould it succinctly say "North Devon and East Devon (but really Mid Devon) colleges??
The college is a combination of the previous North devon and East Devon colleges, but the East Devon college campus was always in Mid Devon. That was geographically challenged!
