"Bogbrushes!" I like that.
This happens on quite a few personal spaces, and is due to the Researcher being registered with 'Get Writing'
One way round it is to register with 'Get Writing', but not sure if you can, as it's closing soon. Only other thing I can suggest, is to politely, join in one of the Researchers on-going conversations.
Hope that helps.

I was hoping it was going to be a short Entry, then discovered there's much more to fairies than I thought.
Hoping a book is going to have different info. than the 'net' hope that won't turn out to be wishful thinking too.

But I can't even reply to existing conversations and I've not had any trouble posting to get writing or collective, etc, before...

Hmmm I've just tested that out, without actually posting a reply. On the conversation threads started on h2g2, I had no problem, but on conversations started on Get Writing, I couldn't reply. It's not really a 'field' I know much about. It might be a good idea to post your question on the Gurus Home Page. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Good evening,
I am new here but not new in life being retired and doing oddish jobs to eke out the pension.
Have difficulty with this complex and puzzling site.
I was born in Bristol - England. Have to add the "England2 bit, there is sure to be one in the USA.
Born in 1940 with odd memories of the Bristol blitz which I should not have, being about 6 months old at the time.
We have slow worms and frogs but no adders so far
I drive Goths sometimes, a bit odd but no trouble

I've just posted an Ace Welcome on your space, I hope that will help with un-puzzling the site.
Do you mind me asking if you're male or female, it doesn't really matter, it just makes it a little easier when chatting.

I rarely take the dogs out, we have quite a few staffs around here, sometimes out on their own, I don't trust them near my dogs, and I can't protect two dogs at once. My 2 are just as likely as any other dog to start a fight, but the difference is with a staff, it won't just be a little scrap, with no harm done, them things just don't let go.
But when I do take them out, they get a long walk, to a lake with lots of different birds on

That is right my Mum's friend had a staff and when we visited it was so strong that when it leant against you to get stroked you couldn't move it!
The lake sounds much nicer with all the birdsThe swallows are back here so hopefully the summer will follow them soon.It has been sunny but still cold here.

Thanks for dropping by my space, and posting in my guestbook Bill
I'm often amused at what people shorten my name to, it's often Em/em, you're the second to call me M, it makes me feel like a character from a James Bond film, I don't like the Bond films, but it still makes me chuckle I'm off to bed now, enjoy your adventure.
