"I wasn't happy with it anyway, lurking in message boards didn't really tell me much"
You've been writing quite a few of these - next time I go out to a munch would you like to come? A munch is like an h2g2 meet-up, except with less funny goings-on!

May I email you in confidence Mina?
There's an email address in the scoutforum from last year, if you're still using that one.

I couldn't email you as there was only part of your email address in scoutforum. Could you email me please -
[email protected]
I'll reply in my regular email account, I hardly ever use that one.
Would you like your name credited on the BDSM Entry? As you specified with a previous Entry that you didn't want your name credited, I thought I'd ask, rather than just adding it.

I've sent an email now.
I'm happy not to have credit - it's not really my work. It's so much easier to wait until someone else has written something and then post comments, or suggest additions than it is to actually write the thing, so you keep the credit, that's fine.
If you really want to add me, you can use the custom credit tag, but I'm happy to go without.

Thanks for your support in the BDSM Entry thread
It's been on Scout Recommendation page since yesterday (5th), and is still there, so the Eds haven't rejected it, and are giving me the chance to change it to suit BBC guidelines.
It's a shame the glossary had to go, it's a bit lame without it, but like I said, I can add a link to that at the bottom of the Entry.

I guessed it had been recommended for the Eds to put in an appearance. I understand why they have to be a bit 'strict' about it, because frankly a lot of BDSM stuff could be considered illegal. Stupid really. If I want welts that last a week I don't see why I can't have them.
I might do some research on Operation Spanner... http://www.spannertrust.org/documents/spannerhistory.asp

Hmmm I've heard of that Operation Spanner before, though had forgotten about it. That was over 10 years ago, and reading the other pages it's still relevant today, and a bit of a step backwards from the BDSM Entry. I now feel I ought to contact the editors, and suggest they add a bit about the complex legal technicalities of the law of assult and S/M, though if they've got legal advisers they have probably already told them that. I never gave a thought to the legal side of things.

I read somewhere that the 'victim' could be done for being an accessory to the 'crime'... That was in a book published in 1999 though. I think an entry on the legalities of hitting people for fn (or profit in some cases) would make a great entry! If rather short... I was looking for inspiration.

I've just posted on the EF, requesting the Eds add a bit about the legal aspects, if they've conferred with their legal department, they would've done that anyway, this way at least I get some control over what is put, I hope
What would you call this Entry is there enough info that you could use, it would be enlightening.

Slight change of subject, an idea for a 'munch', how about a book swap, novels rather than reference books, don't suppose people would want to part, even temporary, with their reference books, and they'd be no guarantee they'd get them back.
I've got some novels: a few Nexus, a Chimera (or something like that) and Anne Rice's Beauty trioligy set. I was going to put them on ebay, but would be happy to swap for other similar books instead. Or isn't reading erotic BDSM books common.

Some of the stalls at the fetish fair sell second hand books, but they don't always seem to like buying them. I've seen them at raffles as well, so I think it's quite common to read them!
I've got to answer your email, so I'll say more then.
As for the entry, I'm not sure what I'd call the title. I've got something else more urgent that entries on at the moment, but I hope that next week I can have a look and see if there's an entry in it.
