No offense but is there a point being made in this entry? I suspect the mere presentation of historical sources doesn't constitute research. Also, there should be some sort of citation else its plaigerism.

Curious to call this "an exchange of letters" when there are five years in between them . . . ?
This is presumably a typo (be for me) in the second-last par: "also informed be that St Malo . . ."

I do not think that quoting letters is plagiarism. That said, there may very well be copyright issues.

above and beyond the legal issues, this entry doesn't really add much to the guide as it is. More context, or done in a different way or something.

All that needs doing to this entry is a little bit of research. Check with hotels mentioned in the letters see if they have any historical documents that back up Marx's stays. Also local Histirical groups may have some other details on Marx's visit. Even putting the letters into the historical context of Marx's life. What book was he working on? Why was he in Jersey? Even if jsut to escape the heat of London. Or maybe there were other reasons for his visit. As an Historian myslef and an Economist as well I'd have loads of question along these lines upon seeing this evidence.
However just typing his letters in merely repitition of other sources and not worthy of the EG.

Kindly remove this pagarism from Peer Review and if you want to get this entry into the guide do some more research into the subject before resubmitting it.
I've already fround some interesting references not mentioned by Kermit.
