What a guy. I saw him in several other films and he really was a good actor. For a man who was so physically strong it must have been the biggest struggle to cope with such a tragic change in his life. A true hero.

Not only to accept the devastating changes, but to learn from them and help others...all the money he raised and then his return to acting as well (in the remake of 'Rear Window')...a champion among men!
HEY!!!!! I haven't heard from you in ages!!! How's everything going?

Hello!
Sorry it's taken so long to reply, very busy indeed! We have now moved to a proper house with a garden and a garage to put all my manly type 'making things with' stuff in. We have two beautiful cats, but still no babies. I have had the pleasure of working with an australian girl last academic year who comes from Geraldton, but who is now in India doing the travelling thing. I am trying my best to get back on to h2g2 as often as poss, but its proving hard.
How are your studies going? Are you still a student, or are you having to find something vaguely financialy rewarding to do now?
Si

still studying (I'm never going to graduate)...
congratulations on the new place! You're a cat person? I'm a dog person...I've got a German Shephard...the love of my life (though not happy at the moment - he's got a foreign lump on his neck and has to take antibiotics...word of advice. When a large german shephard doesn't want to take tablets, it's impossible to try to give it to him....you pry open his mouth, shove them in the back of his throat, close his mouth till he swallows....wait....wait...wait....and he spits it back out again. Cheeky bugger)
So what plays are the kids doing this term?

Linus...42, i guess that makes me the answer... Posted Nov 17, 2004
If i may offer a suggestion, our dog will eat any tablets as long as we wrap them in some soft cheese or a chunk of meat first.

We've tried that. He'll take the entire thing into his mouth, chew, swallow...then spit the tablet out.

Hello!
Well, I'm doing the play 'Sparkleshark' by Philip Ridley with my year nines (14 yrs old) It's a great play, all about the magic of story telling. I Havn't decided what I am going to do with my older students yet - they are in the middle of getting to grips with Brecht and stanislavsky at the mo! (actually I love Brecht, but that probably pegs me as a theatre bore).
I also have a new boss who is very stressed and strung out on Prozac, lovely. But I still love the job.
What are you studying at the mo?

I did some study on Brecht last semester - it was in my screenwriting course...really interesting. I don't know if I could do something like that - it's a bit too 'confrontational' for me (in regards to realism)...I don't know...I'd love to actually watch something of his though. I think I'd probably understand it better if I saw something of his.
I also studied some Beckett this semester in my film and drama course. Brilliant. Loved it.
Heh heh heh....maybe you should give the guy some Lithium, and he'd be happy instead!!!
Still studying film....
