Some of us more than once 
If it's a matter of personal security, why not just stick with 'Jimster', Jims? That can't easily be traced to your real name except by those of us who've been around long enough to know you as such.
And I think there's nowt wrong with being called by your online name IRL. On the occasions I've met Shea and TJ (including a few weekends ago) I've found it very difficult to call them by their real names, and they frequently call me Gosho. I rather like that.

No, Icy. Credit tags such as "Illustrated by" are not dynamic. They have to have the "common name" of the researcher written into them. I don't know why.

Well as there's over 200 to change, before you start I'd recommend you get him to swear an affidavit that he will be Smij for the rest of his time on hootoo.

Best to leave them as they are, cheers, Gnomon. We did say when se set up the custom credit tags that we wouldn't be retroactively adjusting them for namechanges.
