Happy Birthday Sarah LMH!
Managed to drag myself to the gym at 7 am this morning for a Body Pump class. This is my favourite workout as it is largely weight-lifting and muscle building, and I know it was a big factor in my weight loss.
But 7 a.m is just cruel! In time-logistical terms it makes sense - I can squeeze in a class at the gym before breakfast and ensure that I make my weekly quota of at least 3 classes to justify my monthly fee.
But my body is really not at its best at that time of day. I need at least 3 mugs of tea before I'm human, and preferably something to eat. But working out immediately after eating isn't recommended. But if I dont eat anything then I feel dizzy...
Today I had a spoonful of peanut butter, and a herbal tea since we are out of ordinairy teabags (Shock! Sacrilege! Blamage of 2legs!)

At 7am I return from my 10km cycling tour. Very early mornings are best for me - late evenings aren't. My body gets lazier the later in the day it gets, so I'm having trouble to drag myself on the 10km cycling tour in the late afternoons.

Your fitness regime - and new bod - are to be applauded, Bea.
I used to enjoy Body Pump before this RFA got the better of me. These days I do a 7am three-mile walk after dropping J at the station - and sometimes fit in thirty minutes of jumping around my living room in front of a Rosemary Conley dvd.
Like you, Bel, I'm better earlier in the day.
